Despite being herbivores, its had some huge canine teeth. The skull and some bones of the skeleton of 'Tiarajudens eccentricus' were found in the Brazilian city of Tiaraju, in the state of Rio Grande del Sur, on the border with Uruguay. His name means 'Tiaraju teeth' and also refers to the uniqueness of their morphology ('eccentricus').
